Social Stuff - Episode 4: Warparties

Thanks to Bardic for putting these answers together:

What is a Warparty?

A Warparty is a team of players formed to compete in Warplot Matches. The Warparty has a permission based structure, like WildStar guilds, and owns a Warplot that can be configured for use in Warplot Matches.

What can I do with a Warparty?

Warparty members can queue up for Warplot Matches, using Group Finder. If there are at least 10 members on, and a player with Warplot Queuing permissions has also queued, then the Warparty is able to be matched up to opponent Warparties for battle. Mercenaries (players who have queued for Warplot PvP and do not have a Warparty) will be used if there are less than 40 Warparty members queued to help fill the match.

How do I start a Warparty?

Creating a Warparty is simple! Use Group Finder (N) and choose “Warplots” from the dropdown. Click on the “Click to Register a team” and choose a name. You may invite players into your Warparty once it is created. Please note, your character must be level 50 in order to create a Warparty.

How do I invite people to my Warparty?

Click on your team name in Group Finder, under the “Warplots” dropdown. A member list for the team will appear. You can use the Invite button to invite other characters into your Warparty.

How do I invite people to my Warparty?

How do I set permissions for my Warparty?

To set rank permissions, click the wrench button on the upper-right side of the Warparty’s member list. This will open the Rank permissions window, where you can select the rank you would like to edit, or add a new rank.

  • Create and Remove Rank – Allows this rank to create and remove ranks
  • Change Lower Than This Rank’s Permissions – Allows this rank to edit permissions for any rank below it
  • Rename Rank – Allows this rank to rename existing ranks
  • Vote – Allows this rank to call for a vote for a new Warparty Leader and vote when a guild master vote is called
  • Change Member Rank – Allows players of this rank to change other Warparty member ranks (promote or demote)

How do I leave a Warparty?

If the Warparty is a team that you have created, you do not have an option to leave it – only disband it. To do that: click on your team name in Group Finder, under the “Warplots” dropdown. A member list for the team will appear. You can click the “Disband” button to disband your Warparty.

If the Warparty is owned by someone else, you may go to the member list for the team and click the “Leave” button to leave the team.
