When in doubt, make sure you're up to date
If you're seeing any graphical issues in game, or you're having random crashes that aren't covered by any of our other known issues, a good first step would be to make sure your graphics card drivers are up-to-date. Fortunately, this is a pretty easy process if you haven't done it before.
What kind of graphics card do I have?
If you know the maker of your graphics card, you can skip this step.
If you're not sure, the fastest way to check is to open up your Start menu and type "dxdiag" into the search box (or click 'Run' and type in 'dxdiag' there). This should open up the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. Go to the second tab ("Display 1") and look at what's listed under 'Manufacturer'.
Now you know the manufacturer of your primary graphics card!
Now I know who makes my graphics card, how do I update my drivers?
This part is real easy. Just click the link here that matches your manufacturer, and follow the instructions on that page!
- Additionally, please make sure to keep up-to-date on the latest Application Profiles. These can always be found here.

Wrapping things up
After your drivers have been updated, you'll probably want to give your computer a restart just to make sure all the changes were properly applied. Once your computer is back up, give WildStar a try! Hopefully that will fix your graphical problems. It is possible that there are other things going on, so if you're still seeing problems, feel free to submit a ticket, and our Tech Support team will help you out as best they can.
